Obituary: Tew, Shirley Ruth (Pattee)

Age 88

TEW, Shirley Ruth (Pattee) (Age 88) Passed away June 22, 2015, in Poulsbo Washington.

Shirley was born September 6, 1926, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the youngest of seven children born to Harold Fayette and Ruth Eleanor (Bayston) Pattee.

Shirley and her husband, Floyd Ralph Tew, Sr., owned and operated the Deer Park Livestock Auction from 1954 until 1977.

They subsequently raised cattle on a small farm near Clayton, Washington, and Shirley became a respected realtor specializing in small farms and acreage.

Shirley retired from selling realty, in 2001, and moved to Suquamish, WA, in 2005.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her six siblings, and by one grandson, Derek Estin Tew.

She is survived by her two children, Floyd Ralph (Kristine) Tew, Jr., of Mead, WA, and Kathleen Ranae (Earl) Burdette of Bainbridge Island, WA, and by two grandchildren, Jennifer Faye Burdette of Seattle, WA, and Justin Nathan Tew of Mead, WA.

At Shirley’s request, no service will be held.
