Obituary: Tucker, Ervin E., Sr.

TUCKER, Ervin E., Sr. (Age 87) Ervin was a loving husband and father who was greatly loved and respected by his family and friends.

A lifetime resident of Spokane, Ervin entered into rest on June 24, 2015 in Colbert.

He served his country proudly during WWII, as a US Marine.

In 1949, Ervin married his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Hill, and together they began their family.

Ervin worked for Pacific Northwest Bell on the line crew, and then moved on to installer/repairman.

Ervin loved animals, pinochle, reading, watching old western movies, camping, telling stories, and he had a great sense of humor that many will miss.

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, Chauncy and Ester Tucker; his sister, Renee Clarabelle Elder; and his brother, Lyle M. Tucker.

He is survived by his loving wife at home, Mary; sons, Ervin Jr. of Spokane; and Clinton (Terrie) of Rosalia; grandsons, C. Scott (Danielle) of Dayton, OH and Nicholas L. (Kristy) of Newport, WA; five great-grandchildren; one niece; and five nephews.

The family would like to thank Greenbluff Terrace AFH and Gentiva Hospice for the loving and wonderful care they provided our loved one.

No service will be held at Ervin’s request.

RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Spokane, WA assisted the family.
