House project backers clarified

In “Breaking ground, building courage” in Sunday’s Today section, the story did not make clear that the Casey McKern project is a joint venture between Habitat for Humanity Colville Valley Partners and Pay It Forward Foundation, and not Habitat for Humanity International. The Colville affiliate and Pay It Forward are teaming up to build a fully automated ADA-accessible home with the support of local volunteers and donors. McKern’s mortgage payment will help the Colville Habitat affiliate build new homes for other local families.
