WEBER, Barbara Adele July 18, 1920 - February 21, 2015 Barbara was born to Fred and Adele Brown in Parkdale, AR.

Her family moved to Pomona, CA when she was just four months old.

Barbara loved growing up in Pomona where she spent many happy hours at the beach and was very proud when she was crowned Princess of Deciduous Fruits.

While attending college she met a charming Air Force pilot named Chuck, and after what she called a “whirlwind romance” he swept her off her feet.

They spent the next 30 years in the military moving every few years, with her favorite assignment being in Hawaii.

Barbara was always active.

She volunteered in hospitals and thrifts shops at various military bases.

She would also make it a point to greet new military wives and make sure they felt at home.

After retirement they moved to Punta Gorda Isle, FL.

where she and Chuck resided for the next 22 years until Chuck passed away.

Barbara then moved back to California to be close to her sister, Ann and family.

In 2003 much to the urging of her family, she made the voyage north to Spokane, WA and made her new home at Harbor Crest.

Barbara didn’t slow down when she moved to Spokane.

She enjoyed attending womens Zag games, playing golf, going out for lunch and shopping with friends, and playing the penny slot machines.

She also enjoyed the yearly Mother’s Day Fashion Show at Harbor Crest and always looked forward to modeling a new outfit.

Family had always played an important role in Barb’s life.

She loved having Wednesday night dinners with her family and engaging in a game or two.

Barb is survived by her sons; David and Denise Weber and Scott Weber, her brother-in-law; Robert and Nancy Weber, her grand- children; Kristen and Greg Kienzle, David and Sarah Weber, Deanna, Lindsey and Lauren Weber; great-grandchildren; Abigail and Anikah Kienzle and Courtney Weber; two nephews, a niece, great-nieces and great-nephews from her sister Ann’s family.
