Obituary: Logsdon, Norman Eugene

LOGSDON, Norman Eugene (Age 83) Born at St. Luke’s Hospital in Spokane on February 15, 1931 to Elizabeth E. (Barnett) and Ardath A. Logsdon.

Norman grew up on a farm on Moran Prairie with his brother Ronald Logsdon and sister Karen Rambo.

He loved being with all the animals and especially his dog Butch.

Norm was always willing to help and work around the house and yard.

He loved people.

Everyone was his friend wherever he went.

Coloring was more than a hobby for him, he always gave away his handiwork as presents.

His harmonica and guitar were his passion.

Norm played along with music on the TV and later at Bethany Place and Providence St. Joseph Care Center when musical groups would come in.

Saturday nights with the Lawrence Welk Show was what he looked forward to.

Norm’s family was truly blessed by all the love and fabulous care that he was given at St. Joseph Care Center and Bethany Place.

Norm was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ron.

He is survived by his sister Karen of Spokane; sister-in-law Beverly Logsdon of C’dA, ID; nieces Christina and Sherrie; nephews Gary and Larry; numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be at Heritage on Thursday 10-5PM and a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday March 6, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Chapel followed by interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
