The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

• Working single mother needs queen bed, dresser and potty chair for toddler girl. Contact Jodel at Parent-Child Assistance Program, (509) 995-0674.

• Seventy-year-old disabled man needs vacuum cleaner. Contact Lynnette at Catholic Charities, (509) 487-1304.

• Disabled woman needs full mattress in good condition. Disabled man with respiratory problems needs air purifier. Contact Colleen at Aging & Long-Term Care, (509) 434-1963.

• Homeless family staying with relatives needs twin mattress. Contact Kim at Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program, (509) 893-4123.
