Obituary: Latronica, Bill
His SoulMate, Dawn; three married children (and their mates), Levi (Roni), Dawna (Phil) and Steffany (Jonathan), will find it difficult to go on without his extraordinary wisdom and quirky sense of humor.
His only sibling, sister Louise Latronica Higgins says Bill’s jokes are almost as bad as their dad’s were.
11 nieces and nephews, and 24 great nieces and nephews agree with her.
His two poodles, “BaTa” and “Bling”, will never be the same without his table scraps.
“Cheeks” the bird already misses the heavenly strumming of his fingers on his acoustic guitar, which could ring out at any time; day or night… Bill was a Vietnam-era veteran who loved this country and respected its flag.
He authored 3 1/2 books, as well as over 100 musical compositions.
He and wife Dawn recorded them all together, leaving a legacy of music that will last for generations.
Bill and Dawn performed music professionally together for over 30 years; first in a band called “OASIS” (1982-1992); then as a duo called “Beauty & the Beast” (1992-2014).
For the record, Bill was NOT the Beast…
Dawn lost THE Love of her Life, and the world lost a bright star, innovative guitarist creative thinker and teller of Really Bad Jokes on that Wednesday morning… We’ll be holding a Memorial Service to bid farewell to Bill on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Linwood Church at 6525 N. Monroe at 11am.
We’ll then Celebrate his Life with a potluck lunch at Boys-N-Girls Club at 544 E. Providence at 2pm.
All who knew him are welcome.
