Portland man sets self on fire

PORTLAND – Portland police are investigating after a man set himself on fire in a Portland neighborhood following a domestic dispute.

Officers responded on Saturday at about 1:30 p.m. to reports that the man set himself on fire inside a vehicle.

Firefighters put the fire out and medical personnel treated the man for burns. He was transported to a Portland hospital with critical injuries.

Investigators said the man was involved in a domestic dispute before setting himself on fire.
