Obituary: Petrusha, Greg
Greg fought his cancer right up to the end.
He called Spokane home since he moved here as a toddler.
Greg was the youngest and only boy of the family with five sisters to fuss over him.
He once said, “Too many Mothers, not enough dolls”.
He loved the attention.
After graduation he went to work in the restaurant business and later was operations manager for the family business in Spokane.
Greg had a passion for his cabin and loved spending as much time as he could there.
He always said that was home, and where he wanted to retire.
Greg called the stars out at the lake his diamonds and loved to share them with family and friends, the more the merrier.
Greg left behind many who loved him; five sisters who cherished him; nieces and nephews who loved and looked up to him; and extended family members who enjoyed spending time with him.
He also had many friends, some of whom loved him like a brother.
Every time we see diamonds in the sky we will be thinking of you, ‘til we meet again.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1104 W. Heroy, Spokane, WA., with a reception immediately following.
