Obituary: Van Wagoner, Victoria

Age 63

VAN WAGONER, Victoria (Age 63) Victoria “Vicki” Van Wagoner of Spokane, went home to the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2015.

She bravely faced cancer, and though it was the cause of her death, it never took her life.

She was grateful for every day the Lord gave her to share with friends and family.

Victoria Richards was born to Grant and Nadine Richards August 17, 1951 in Spokane, Wa.

She graduated in 1969 from North Central High School.

She married Robert “Larry” Van Wagoner in 1971 and daughter, Corrina, was born in 1973.

She tried her hand at different careers, but she found her passion when she started her own successful housecleaning business.

A woman of strong faith, she believed in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await her after she left this earth.

A member of Christ the Redeemer congregation, she enjoyed being active in the Church over the years.

One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother to Olivia.

While they only had eight years together, they made enough memories to last a lifetime.

Her beloved friends and family.

How precious they all were to her.

Her life was made full by knowing and loving each of you.

We will all remember her warmth, her love of life, antiques, family and friends, and her easy and contagious laughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Corrina Van Wagoner of Portland, OR, her granddaughter Olivia Maly of Portland, OR and her sisters, Sharon Richards and Verna Richards, both of Spokane, WA, and many cousins.

A Service will be held March 14th at 1:00 pm, at Christ the Redeemer Church, 1508 W. Broadway, Spokane, WA.
