BAYMAN, Clara L. Clara L. Bayman passed away on March 13, 2015 at Touchmark Retirement Community, Spokane, WA.

She resided at Harbor Crest Retirement Community for the past six years.

Clara was 92 years old at the time of her death.

Clara Lillian Erickson was born in Hettinger County, ND on June 7, 1922 to Ellert and Anna Erickson.

She was the next to the youngest of nine children and is survived by her youngest sister, Fern Belland of Bismark, ND.

Clara graduated from Dickinson Normal, Dickinson, ND in 1939.

She then completed beauty school in Fargo, ND, returning to New England, ND to work as a beautician.

Along with her future sister-in-law, Myrna Bayman, Clara moved to Clarkston, WA in the early 1940’s where they started a beauty salon.

Clara married Ferris Bayman (preceded in death, 1982) in 1947 and lived in Clarkston until they moved to Warden, WA in 1954.

They had two children Bradley Bayman of Myrtle Beach, SC and Brenda Marshall of Spokane, WA.

Clara continued to work as a beautician, owning the Warden Beauty Shop until retirement in 1984.

Clara was an active member of the Warden Community Church for nearly 50 years.

The Baymans were active in the early development of Warden.

They were members of the Sons of Norway and the Elks Lodge in Moses Lake, WA.

Clara is also survived by her son, Bradley (June), granddaughters Jennifer Turecki (John), Ferris Bayman (Kevin), and great-grand- daughter Barrett Turecki all of Myrtle Beach, SC; her daughter Brenda Marshall (Dean), Spokane, WA., granddaughters Alyssa Marshall of Seattle, WA, Andrea Frueh (Scott), Spokane, WA, and grandson Ryan Marshall of Denver, CO. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10:00 AM, Harbor Crest Retirement Community, Spokane, WA.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 PM in Clarkston, WA.

Any memorial donations can be sent to the March of Dimes or the American Cancer Society.
