Obituary: Vergon, Myrtle Helene

VERGON, Myrtle Helene July 24, 1913 - March 6, 2015 Myrtle passed on March 6 into the hands of the Lord at 101 years of age.

In order to be closer to family she and her husband, Theodore F. Vergon, had moved in 1999 from Lighthouse Point, Florida to Park Place Assisted Living in Spokane Valley.

Theodore passed on January 6, 2000 at age 89.

At that time they had been married for 65 years.

Myrtle decided that she would remain at Park Place.

In 2013 she made the move to Sullivan Park Care Center where she spent her final days.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her sister Alice Selbo and brothers George and Robert Georgenson.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Sullivan, granddaughters Jacqueline McDonough and Jill Carvello, grandson Jeffrey McDonough, and great-grandson Jack.

She is also survived by her son Blake Vergon, granddaughters Kelly Reynolds and Kimberly Juhnke, and great-granddaughters Mckenzie and Cassandra Reynolds, Taylor Juhnke, and great-grandsons Tanner and Tyler Juhnke.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers at both Park Place Assisted Living and Sullivan Park Care Center for the assistance and consideration that was afforded Myrtle.
