Obituary: Watson, Daniel M.
Age 86
He was born June 24, 1928 in Colorado Springs, CO, the son of Walter M. and Olive (Prouse) Watson.
Dan married Laura J. Watson and together they enjoyed 44 years of marriage until her passing in 1999.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was honorably discharged.
Dan retired from Washington Water Power after 34 years of service to the company.
He was a member of the Trailblazers for WWP as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Dan leaves behind his children Mike (Theresa) Watson, Pat Watson, David (Debbie) Watson, John (LeeAnn) Watson, Tim Watson, Laurie Cunningham and Mark Watson; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25 from 12-7pm at St. Joseph Cemetery and Funeral Center Chapel, 17825 E. Trent Ave., Spokane Valley.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11am and will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 N. Walnut Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
Interment with Military Honors will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 17825 E. Trent Ave., Spokane Valley, WA.
