Obituary: Butler, Thelma E.
Age 96
Her journey to Heaven began in Leed, SD, born to Charles and Carrie Guffey.
They, along with her brother Floyd Guffey, migrated through the western states ending in Ilwaco, WA where she met her husband, Charles.
Together they built a loving relationship that lasted 66 years until his death in 2006.
Thelma was a loving and caring mother to Duane and his wife Debbie, devoted grandmother to Michael (Glenda) and Melissa (Ari Spiro), and proud great-grandmother of five.
She cared deeply for her family and friends as well.
She will always be remembered as a strong-willed individual who built her life on the word of God and His promises.
Memories of her will forever remain in our hearts.

She will be honored in a memorial service on Friday, March 27th at 3:00pm in the Good Samaritan Chapel in Spokane Valley, WA.
Thelma will be laid to rest in a graveside ceremony at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, March 28th at 9:00am.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent to Good Samaritan of the Spokane Valley.
