Obituary: Graham, Kenneth Lee

GRAHAM, Kenneth Lee Of Great Falls, died Friday, March 20, 2015.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 27 at 3:00 pm, outdoors at Elaina’s home at 3649 7th Avenue South in Great Falls.

A second memorial service will be held in Spokane on Sunday, March 29 at 3:00 pm at Salem Lutheran Church, 1428 W. Broadway in Spokane, WA.

Cremation has taken place in the care of O’CONNOR FUNERAL HOME.

Ken grew up in Spokane, WA.

Before retiring, he was a firefighter and forestry technician for the U.S. Forest Service.

His wife, Elaina, continues to work for the Forest Service.

Over the years, they had lived in seven different western states, including four years in Anchorage, AK.

Ken was a woodworker, a martial artist, a painter, a pen-and-ink artist, a musician, and a sculptor.

He was also a skilled woodsman, and Ken and his best buddy, Joe, spent several winters as beaver trappers.

To his stepsons, Rod and Aaron, his heart was as big as his hug.

He always had a smile on his face, and he had a manner that made you laugh and adore him.

His love for the martial arts continues in Rod, and through him to his students as a martial arts instructor.

For Ken and Elaina, vacation meant camping, backpacking, or canoeing, usually combined with a road trip.

Ken is survived by his wife Elaina; stepsons Aaron and Rod; step-grandson Hagen; mother Eunice; siblings Gale, Diane, Lynn, Joanne, Don, and Alan; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
