Obituary: Morton, Robert Lee “Bob”

MORTON, Robert Lee “Bob” Bob was born on November 30, 1930 to Ralph and Lydia (Nelson) Morton, in Denver, Colorado.

Bob served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring on July 31, 1971.

He then worked as a custodian for School District 81 for 10 1/2 years.

Bob passed away March 20, 2015 surrounded by family.

He is survived by his wife, Doris of 62 years; daughter Debbie Wendt, husband Gary; grandson Ray Hansen, wife Angela; great-grandsons Ryder, Maddox and Carter; grandson Nathan Wendt, wife Samantha; daughter Nancy Nezovich, husband Tom; grandchildren Annaliese and Robert of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Bob had one brother, Ralph V. Morton, Jr., who preceded him in death.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26th from 12 to 5 pm at Hennessey Funeral Home (2203 N. Division).

A Funeral Service with Military Honors is scheduled at 10 am on Friday, March 27th at Fairmount Memorial Park in the Sunset Chapel.
