Food bank fundraiser includes hand-painted bowls

Soup will be on: “Working alongside the food bank is an honor for us,” said Kim Washko, owner of Hands to Art in Coeur d’Alene on Wednesday. She donated 250 hand-painted bowls for the fourth annual Empty Bowls fundraiser for Post Falls Food Bank today from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center in Post Falls. Eleven restaurants will provide soups. Admission is $15, and includes soup, roll, drink and bowl. (Kathy Plonka)
