Assessor’s office involved in suit

A story that ran on page A5 Thursday incorrectly identified the Spokane County office whose actions prompted a lawsuit by the City of Spokane over a property tax exemption. The Spokane County Assessor’s Office, along with the Treasurer’s Office, prepared property tax statements challenged by the city.
