BACHELOR, Gilbert Arthur December 28, 1931 - April 30, 2015 Gilbert Arthur Bachelor 83 of Corvallis, passed away on Thursday morning at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.

Gilbert was born in Valentine, NE to Charles and Jeanette (Jones) Bachelor.

He graduated from Rogers High School in Spokane, WA.

and then attended Eastern Washington College.

Gilbert worked at Oregon State University for more than 30 years as a professor of computer science and mathematics.

Gilbert is survived by: sisters Beth A. Suslo of Las Vegas, NV and Mary J. Lohstroh of Deer Park, WA.

; and five nephews and two nieces, and many grand nieces and nephews.

At his request no public services will be held.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
