Age 84
SCHMELING, George Albert Born on January 18, 1931 in Republic, WA to Robert and Gladys Schmeling passed away peacefully on May 12, 2015 of natural causes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings; Leah K. Mahrt, William “Bill” Schmeling, and Janice Brinkley Calene.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rachel, two sisters; Dorothea Berg and Hyla Hitchock, three children; Wayne Schmeling, Karla Schmeling, and Christine (Darrin) Wallace, three granddaughters; Candace Schmeling, Tashya Wallace and Ginny Wallace, and one great-granddaughter Maya Flores.
The memorial service will be at Westside Church of the Nazarene on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 3pm, followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
