Obituary: Hall, Florence Ann

HALL, Florence Ann (1927 - 2015) Florence was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife to Emory Hall, who was also called Papa.

She was adoringly called Mambie instead of grandma.

Florence was always ready for a journey with her husband, whether it was in his airplane, sea boat or motor home.

She loved being by his side and was a well traveled adventurer.

Emory worked and she took care of everything else.

She adored celebrating birthdays and holidays with her family.

She would bake chocolate cake for almost all these gatherings, a recipe passed down to her from her mother-in-law Mamie Hall.

Birthday cards were always sent 4 days before your birthday so it would arrive in the mail at just the right time.

She followed her sports like no other fan!

Championship games of any sport were always talked about.

She nurtured her family through sickness and broken bones.

Emory passed three years ago and she missed him dearly.

She passed just one day after what would have been their 65th wedding anniversary.

Our family misses them both and we find comfort in knowing they are now together forever.

Florence is survived by her sister Margaret and three children Mark Hall (Anne), Coeur d’Alene ID; Sally Compton (John), Greenacres WA; Robert Hall (Brenda) Greenacres WA.

Her four grandchildren Matthew Hall (Karen), Hayden ID; Carrie Reese (John), Hayden Lake ID; Taylor Hall (Jasmine), Liberty Lake WA; Kailey Hall, Liberty Lake Wa.

Her four great-grandchildren Samuel Reese; Gabriel Reese; Lauren Hall; Cora Hall.
