Obituary: Twogood, Dorothy
Age 82
She was born on September 3, 1932 in Yakima, WA to Fred and Alice Wilson and was the youngest of three children including her brothers Bob and Jack.
She lived in Prosser, WA until the summer of 1944 when she moved to Colville, WA and entered junior high.
Dorothy graduated from Colville High School in 1950 and married Terry Bresnahan on December 1, 1950.
Together they lived in Colville until 1955 and then moved to Chewelah.
This is where she was actively involved in the Civic Theater in addition to playing piano and organ at church.
In 1976, she moved to Spokane and attended Spokane Community College where she obtained an AA degree in accounting.
Dorothy worked for numerous companies including DSHS from which she retired.
Dorothy enjoyed gardening and was a fantastic cook, making even the simplest meals seem the best ever.
As an excellent seamstress, she made many of her own clothes until a few years ago.
As youngsters, the grandchildren always had outfits and knitted sweaters from Grandma.
She was also a member of PEO, enjoyed skiing and playing bridge with her friends.
She is survived by her children Mike (Frances) Bresnahan of Spokane, Susan Bresnahan of Tortola, BVI, Tom (Perry) Bresnahan of Spokane, and Donna (Chris) Bresnahan of Carlton, WA; brothers Bob Wilson of Northport, WA and Jack Wilson of Palm Desert, CA.
Also her grandchildren who all had a special place in her heart: Erin Bresnahan, Alyssa Bresnahan, Ian Bresnahan, Brie Bresnahan, Clare Bresnahan and Stevie Ball.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Alice Wilson.
