Obituary: Wood, Benjamin Maxwell, Sr.
Age 71
He was born on March 6, 1944.
Ben was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Jackson, father Maxwell Wood and his best friend, Jeff the dog.
He is survived by his wife Betty and children Benjamin, Megan and Jesse (Wood), six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and brothers Bob and Richard (Jeromchek).
Ben was born and raised in Mead, WA.
After he graduated from Mead High School, he went directly into the Navy.
He worked at Columbia Lighting for 40 years.
Ben was not only a loving husband, a wonderful father, but a loyal friend.
Before his passing, Ben mentioned how important it was to him that his friends and family knew how much he loved them.
Ben is going to be deeply missed and never forgotten.
