Undersheriff misidentified
Spokane County Undersheriff Jeff Tower was misidentified in an article on county salaries on page A5 of Tuesday’s newspaper due to a reporter’s error.
Candidate owns design firm
Spokane City Council candidate Evan Verduin is a former project manager at Nystrom Olson and owns a design firm. His employment was incorrectly stated in an article in Saturday’s newspaper on page A6.
Location of tracks misstated
Spokane Fire Capt. Roger Libby said if firefighters at Spokane Fire Station 8 are dispatched to an emergency east of the station and a train is on the tracks at Mission Avenue, there’s an easy go-around: Head west on Mission Avenue, south on Freya Way and back east on Trent Avenue. The direction from the station that sometimes is blocked by a train was misstated in an article in Sunday’s newspaper on page B1.
