Obituary: Thomas, Roosevelt
He was born in Atlanta, TX on May 6, 1929.
Roosevelt served over 22 years in the Air Force, he was very proud of his military career.
Roosevelt was involved in many community activities in Spokane during and after his military career.
He ran for city council, he was a Mason, an exceptional bridge player and he ran a boarding home, he was a member of the East Side planning committee during the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
He was also on the board of directors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters being part of this organization was near and dear to his heart.
Roosevelt is survived by his loving son Printince Thomas, two daughters; Elleaser (Lisa) Thomas and Cassandra (Sandy) Thomas; and grandson Isayah Printince Thomas.
The graveside memorial service will be held Monday June 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery, 21702 West Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA.
The viewing will be held at Heritage Saturday May 30, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
