Central Valley School District has named Lora Jackson as principal of North Pines Middle School, Keven Frandsen as principal of University High School and Kimberly Kyle as principal of Central Valley Kindergarten Center, effective July 1. Jackson served for five years as the assistant principal at North Pines Middle School. Frandsen previously worked as interim principal of University High School. Kyle was previously the dean of students at Fulton Elementary in Chandler, Arizona.

Spokane HOPE School has named Danette Driscoll as the executive director. Driscoll has more than 20 years of experience in K-12 education, including 10 years as a district administrator.

Ken Wardinsky has been named the chief information officer at North Idaho College, effective mid-July. Wardinsky has 19 years of experience in his field and worked as the chief information officer and director of planning for Great Falls College Montana State University.

Health care

Peter Weitzman, a physician and IPC practice group leader at Providence Holy Family Hospital, was named a Clinician of the Year by IPC Healthcare, a national acute hospitalist and post-acute provider organization.

The  Accreditation  Committee  of  the  College  of  American  Pathologists  has  awarded accreditation to Allele Diagnostics Inc. The accreditation recognizes the laboratory’s highest standard of care for patients.

Hospitality

Barbara Seiler has been named the area director of sales and catering for Davenport Hotels. Seiler has more than 25 years of experience in luxury hotel sales and catering and was previously a national sales manager with the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

Local FedEx Freight driver Adam Heim finished second in the 4-Axle class at the 2015 Idaho State Truck Driving Championship in Meridian on May 15-16.

Nonprofit

Larry H. Miller Downtown Toyota Spokane and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., donated a total of $20,000 to Camp Stix, Beyond Pink, Wishing Star Foundation and Safety Net during the 2015 Larry H. Miller Drive for Good.
