Obituary: Parkey, Louella “Eileen”
Age 98
She was born May 14, 1917 in Devils Lake, North Dakota to Robert and Viola Farrington.
Eileen lived in Kellogg, ID where she met and married Ted Parkey.
They were married for 59 years and settled in Spokane where they raised five children as well as numerous foster children.
Eileen was a member of the Lincoln Heights Congregational Church and an active member of the Women’s Fellowship at the church.
Eileen enjoyed gardening along with her husband Ted, and produced a big vegetable garden as well as beautiful flowers.
She enjoyed cooking meals with many of her home grown veggies.
Eileen will be missed by all who know her, especially her family, sons Terry (Stevie), Rich (Ann), daughter Tieleen (Tenny) Sanelli, Tim (Pam), and Michael.
She had 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
We know that God called her gentle soul home for a rest, but also for her hotcakes and homemade bread.

The family thanks the staff at Providence St. Joseph Care Center for their loving care of our mother.

The Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.
Viewing is scheduled for 1:00pm.
