Obituary: Horlacher, Helen E.

HORLACHER, Helen E. (Age 86) Passed away November 6, 2015 at her home in St. John, Washington.

She was born August 31, 1929 in Malden, WA to Martin and Della Lavina Wyrick.

She married W. Homer Horlacher September 6, 1947 in Spokane, WA, and they had five children.

She was a farmer’s wife who drove the wheat truck, enjoyed camping, fishing, making wedding cakes, decorating, playing cards, dice, and having family and friends around.

She is survived by her children; Darlene Kinney, Ron (Jan) Horlacher, Sandy (Travis) Fletcher, Fay (John) Cornthwaite and Karen (Jim) Mahoney.

Brother, Charles and numerous grand, great-grand and great-great-grand- children.

She was preceded in death by her Husband W. Homer and siblings Marvin and Gladys.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. John Fire Department or the St. John 4H Club.

Visitation will 9-9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning at Schanzenbach Funeral home in Rosalia.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, at the Rosalia IOOF Evergreen Cemetery followed by a Memorial service and pot luck at 11:30 at the St. John Community Center in St. John, WA.
