Obituary: Pirello, Frank Joseph
Age 96
Frank was born in Greenacres, WA, on November 1, 1919.
He served in WWII as a Buck Sargent in the Army, stationed in the Philippines and Australia.
Frank married upon his return in 1948.
He built the family home in Spokane Valley, WA, where he also started his business of 60 years, Pirello Bros. Excavating.
Frank was preceded in death by his son Brad.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anita; daughters Terri and Lorrie (husband John); sons Ron and Mike (wife Cathy); four grandchildren: Lorrie’s children, Octavia and Ashli, and Mike’s children, Ava and Mason; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank enjoyed dancing, bowling, and simply hanging out in his shop with his three brothers.
He was an active member of St. Mary’s Church and could always be counted on to help his neighbors in need.
As the last of nine siblings, Frank’s death creates a joyful reunion for him in Heaven with his brothers and sisters.
He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend to many and will be missed.
His memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Rd., Spokane Valley, WA, on Saturday, November 21, 2015, 1:00 PM.
