Obituary: Mortamer, Burnetta L. (Musgrave)
Age 93
She graduated from Wa-Hi in 1939.
On August 18, 1944, she married Irwin Charles Mortamer, her high school sweetheart.
A few years later, they moved to Dayton, Washington.
Jerrie graduated from Sherwood Music School on November 4, 1959, and became a beloved piano teacher to many students during the time she lived in Dayton.
Shortly after the death of her husband in 1963, Jerrie moved back to Walla Walla where she attended Walla Walla Business College.
In 1964 she moved to Spokane, WA.
She worked at the BX on FAFB and later in the Personnel Department at Eastern Washington State Hospital as well as the Choir Director at Lakeland Village all while continuing to teach piano to very lucky students.
Jerrie is survived by three children: Two daughters: Joan (Lawrence) Mortamer-Hoiland and Jan Mortamer-Holmberg.
One son: Kim (Kelly) Mortamer.
Six grandchildren: Lyle (Tracy) Mortamer, Travis (Sarah) Holmberg, Susie (Victor) Davis, Shannon Pielli, Kyle (Melissa) Mortamer and Carrie Mortamer.
Three step-grandchildren: Gary Harris, Lisa Harris and Frances Harris.
Jerrie passed into the arms of our Lord on August 27, 2015.
