SCHMITZ, Nicholas G. (Age 54) October 13, 1960 - September 16, 2015 Nick passed away comfortably at home with his family by his side and the sun shining on his face.

Nick was born and raised in Spokane.

He loved football, car racing and baseball.

Nick had a special love and bond with all of his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents Margaret, Alfred Kortness and Robert J. Schmitz, his brothers Robbie Jr. and Denis as well as Nick’s dog Bootsie.

Nick is survived by his sisters Kathy, Karen and Peggy and his brothers Wayne, Sonny, Ken, John, Joe, Ted and Mike.

A special thanks to Kenny, Carol, Brady, Anthony, Austin, Cassie, Sam, Gracie, Heather, Joe, Famary, Joey, Mickey, Rosie, Drake, Cloee and Hospice for making it possible to have Nick home and Harper’s smile every day.

Come celebrate Nick’s life and birthday Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 1:00PM at Fieldhouse Pizza, 4423 W. Wellesley in Spokane.
