Obituary: Costello, Duane Hardy

COSTELLO, Duane Hardy (Age 55) Died Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, Wash. after a sudden, brief illness.

Hardy, as he was known was born February 8, 1960 in Yakima, Wash. to Marie Louise (Stenerson) and Elmo Costello, the oldest of three children.

Hardy attended school in Moses Lake, later moving to Spokane, Wash.

He loved gardening, Nascar, cooking and especially raising his grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his big, big belly laugh and smile from ear-to-ear.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Hardy is survived by two children, Daniel Costello of Moses Lake, Wash., Megan Costello of Spokane, WA.

; his parents Elmo and Marie Costello of Moses Lake, WA., brother Jay (Ruthena) Costello of Vancouver, WA.

and sister Suzi (Steve) Tokunaga of Moses Lake, WA.

; three grandchildren, Samantha Davis, Aivry Costello and Melia Costello; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Hardy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 in New Beginnings Christian Center, 318 W. Northshore Dr., Moses Lake, WA.
