GEAR, Sue I.

(Age 77) Sue Gear of Cheney, Washington, passed away on October 14, 2015, after a good fight with pancreatic cancer.

Sue was born on October 1, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio, to Howard and Reba Beaver.

Sue met Dan and began a military life traveling to different bases before settling down at Fairchild AFB where they retired.

Sue worked for the Cheney School District for over 20 years.

Sue is survived by their children, Michael Gear, Michelle (Steve) Fox, and Sharon (Shawn) McManus; sisters, Ann Lahm of California and Jane Schroeder of Ohio; and her loving grandchildren who were her world: T.J., Jordan, Nicole, Carlie and Quayde.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Care Center, Spokane, Washington.

The staff took amazing care of her and treated her with kindness and respect during this difficult journey.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at the United Church of Christ, Cheney, Washington.
