Obituary: Harper, Mary

HARPER, Mary (Age 92) Passed away peacefully on October 19, 2015.

She was a loving Sister, Wife, Mother, Gram and Great- Gram, and a friend to many.

She was a member of North Hill Christian Church, Daughters of the Nile, Past Worthy Matron of Evergreen Chapter #1 OES of Goldendale, WA, and a IOJD Bethel #64 Gram.

She was a longtime volunteer in Radiology at the Shriners Hospitals for Children-Spokane, and proud of her 23,188 volunteer hours.

Survived by: two daughters and sons-in-law, Patt and Bob and Myrna and John; grandchildren, Ted, Garland, Kay, and Elisabeth; four great-grandchildren; her only cousin, Pauline; nephews and nieces; extended family of the Prekeges.

At her request, there will not be a service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children-Spokane (please designate “gift to EOS Imaging Suite,” in Mary’s name), 911 W. 5th, Spokane, WA 99204, or a charity of your choice.

She will be missed by family and friends and her new friends at Fairwinds.
