Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning in the 1200 block of East Garland Avenue.
Officers were called to the home at 5:30 a.m. Saturday and gave first aid to the victim before paramedics arrived, said police spokesman Cpl. Jordan Ferguson. The man suffered non-life threatening injuries. A search of the area with officers and a police K9 for the suspect was unsuccessful.
The shooting appears to have happened outside the home, Ferguson said. Major Crimes detectives are investigating. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
