Obituary: Alderson, Barbara K.
Age 63
Barbara was born June 20, 1952 to two loving parents, Arthur and Faith Shuman, and was a lifelong resident of Spokane, WA.
Prior to retirement, she worked in the cable television industry as a customer service agent.
Barbara is survived by her son, Thomas Pope and wife Christina of Spokane, as well as two daughters, Jennifer Harrison and husband Tim of Spokane and Michelle Amundson Smith and husband Mitch of Vancouver.
Barbara brought a smile to every face that knew her.
Among those that will forever remember her are her grandkids, Alex, Colin, and Isaiah.
Unborn Josiah will have to wait until Heaven to meet his Grammy.
She also leaves behind sister Diana and brother Jay who eagerly wait to see her again.
Her mother, father, and little brother John have undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms as she arrived in Heaven.
There will be a memorial service held for her on Sunday, November 1st at 3PM.
Pastor Don Stevens will be honored to officiate the service which will be held at Spokane First Assembly of God located at 828 W. Indiana Avenue in Spokane.
In addition, there will be an informal inurnment ceremony on Friday, November 6th at 1PM, which will take place at Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley.
