Obituary: Richardson, Jay
Age 72
He was born to Alfred Layfette and ZinniaBelle (Nichols) Richardson, April 26, 1943.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Howard and Laura Nichols; brother, Craig Benninger and sister-in-law Denise Benninger.
He served in the United States Navy in the l960’s.
He also held several jobs in the Spokane area.
His favorite place to work was nursing homes.
Jay is survived by his siblings, Allan Benninger and Jill (Richardson) Mejia, husband Hugo; his children: Scott Wright (wife Cheryl), Darryl Gerlach, Danielle Shawver and Rachelle Estabrook.
Jay also leaves behind five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, September 18th at 2 PM at the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Cemetery, 5200 W. Wellesley.
