Obituary: Tilque, Frances T.
Age 86
She was born December 27, 1928 in Appleton, WI the daughter of George and Ellen (Hardy) Kronschnabel.
An original wonder woman, she traveled with her Air Force husband and 11 children across the U.S. and Guam.
She was an avid volunteer with the Red Cross, PBS T.V., and community services.
She got to know more about Corvair cars than she ever wanted to, but she was faithful to her husband’s love of Corvairs, traveling to car shows and learning the in’s and out’s of carburetors.
We always told her to write a book on how she and dad raised and traveled with 11 kids.
What a book that would have been!!
She will now have peace and quiet after a long eventful life.
Her faith in God brought her through life’s trials and blessings.
Left here on earth to mourn and remember Fran are 10 of 11 children: Tom (Eileen), Jim, Ellen (Mike), Dan, Steve (Cindy), Paul (Mary), Eileen, Elaine (Rick), Mary, and Donna (Bob); 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, with number nine arriving soon; her sister Mary Kronschnabel, her brothers George Kronschnabel and John (Helen) Kronschnabel; brothers-in-law Lawrence (Barbara) Tilque and Elmer Tilque; sisters-in-law Rosemary Baird and Kathleen Pikulski.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald and daughter Carolynn; her sisters Eileen and Elizabeth; her brother Edward.
And as football season starts, mom would say “Go Packers”.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Spokane Chapter of the Red Cross and Hospice House of Spokane.
