Obituary: Harp, Christopher “Chris”
Age 16
Christopher Robert Martin Harp was born November 10, 1998 at Spokane, WA.
Chris came to Tekoa in 1999 with his parents, Jeff and Robin (Martin) Harp.
Chris attended grade school in Tekoa, his freshman year of high school in Tekoa, his sophomore year at Oakesdale High School, and had started his junior year at Freeman High School.
In grade school and high school, Chris played basketball and was on the cross country team where he lettered his freshman year.
He was also a member of the Future Farmers of America where he raised animals for the fair.
Chris enjoyed swimming and boating during the summer months, and had been employed as a lifeguard at the Rosalia pool this past summer.
Chris loved modern technology and enjoyed fixing computer problems.
Chris loved his dog Milo.
Survivors include his mother Robin Harp of Tekoa, his father, Jeff Harp of Tekoa, his brother A.J.
Harp of Tekoa; his grandparents, Pete and Fran Martin of Tekoa, his aunts and uncles, Karen and Greg Blomgren, Bill and Diane Harp, Jerry and Debbie Harp, all of Tekoa, and Judy and Jim Stilson of Joseph, OR.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 3:30 PM at the Tekoa High School gymnasium.
Burial will follow at Goldenrod Cemetery in Tekoa.
