Spokane River Clean-Up - 12th annual event where hundreds of volunteers spend their Saturday morning picking up garbage and recyclable materials from our public lands along the Spokane River. This year, we plan to cover locations in the Spokane Valley, the University District, the Downtown River Gorge area, High Bridge Park and People’s Park. Register online. 9 a.m. (509) 209-2851.

Fiesta Spokane Run 5K/10K - Riverfront Park’s inaugural Fiesta Spokane Run. This scenic 5K/10K chip-timed race will take runners around the park starting at the Gondola Meadow, running on the Centennial trail, through Gonzaga University’s campus and finishing at the Heritage Festival. Spokane Color Dash 5K - This is a family-friendly, untimed 5K that welcomes all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities. Fiesta Spokane Heritage Festival - Second annual family-friendly event sharing and celebrating the Latino culture with the community. Kidical Massive Spokane – Kid- and family-friendly, adult supervised, instructional bike ride. Spokane will join kids from more than 30 cities for the first ever global Kidical Massive bike ride. Kids and families in Spokane will ride a scenic 3-mile route through residential neighborhoods, along the Spokane River, Centennial Trail and starting/finishing with fun activities in Kendall Yards. Improv Class - This eight-week class will teach you the basics of improvisation, which you can expand upon during the many games you will be playing.
