Obituary: Williams, Mildred H.
She graduated from Reardan High School in 1937, and attended Whitworth as well as Eastern Washington University.
Mildred and Earl Williams were married on June 6, 1940.
They farmed wheat, barley, and raised registered shorthorn cattle until they moved to Reardan in 1992.
They enjoyed traveling: Australia, South America, and Europe, visiting farms when possible.
They spent many winters in Indio, California, enjoying the warmth and sunshine.
Earl and Mildred moved to Harbor Crest, Spokane in 2009, and later to Harbor Glen.
Mildred was a fine seamstress and cook, entering, and winning many blue ribbons, in Grange competitions and fairs.
She was the leader of a 4-H club, a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church (attending Trinity Lutheran in Indio), Mondovi Grange, Washington State Grange, (former director of Women’s Activities for the N.E.
District).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, who passed in 2012, after 72 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children Don (Chris) Williams of Cortez, Colorado, Paul (Lorri) Williams, and Tammy (Mike) Booker all of Davenport; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

A service for Mildred will be held on October 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Gutzman officiating.
