One dead in two-vehicle collision north of Pullman

One man has died in a two-vehicle head-on collision on Albion Road in Pullman, the Pullman Police Department reported. The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Albion Road between state Highway 27 and Brayton Road, the department said. One man was traveling eastbound and another traveling westbound when they collided in the center of the road, Pullman Police spokesman Cmdr. Chris Tennant said. Neither vehicle had any passengers. Both drivers were taken to Pullman Regional Hospital, where one was pronounced dead around 9:30 a.m. Tennant said the cause of the accident was not yet known, but collision investigators would have more information Monday afternoon. Both drivers appear to have been wearing seat belts.
