Timothy Lee Goehner lost his battle with cancer at Hospice House in Spokane March 26, 2016.
Born July 11, 1947.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Will Goehner; his daughter Tara; and an infant grandchild.
Tim is survived by two sons, Robert and Errol; mother Leah; brothers Paul, Randy, and Keith; four nieces and nephews; plus many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, April 9th, 2016, at Millwood Presbyterian Church 3223 N. Marguerite, Millwood, WA.
Tim was an avid Videophile and Bibliophile collecting over 1,000 each of movies and books.
He wrote several Sci-fi stories but remained unpublished.
He was a collector and meticulous organizer.
Tim had an Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering and spent many years working for Martin/Marietta in California where he proudly help build NASA’s Space Shuttles as well as Titan Rockets.
Divorced in 1993, Tim returned to Spokane in 1995 to help maintain the family home where his mother Leah still resides.
In the late 90’s Tim returned to studies at Eastern Washington University, graduating Magna Cum Laude Bachelors of Business Administration in 2001.
His easy-going attitude, sharp mind and bad puns will be missed.
