KREMER, Irene Josephine

Irene passed away on March 29, 2016 in Spokane, Washington.
Irene was born on November 25, 1925 in Sidney, Nebraska to Sylvester and Winifred Kremer.
The family moved to Colton, Washington in 1936.
Irene attended Colton Schools and moved to Spokane, Washington in 1942.
Irene worked as a checker at Safeway and Rosauers, and in 1954 she joined the Retail Clerk’s Union.
She eventually became a business agent for the Retail Clerk’s and retired from that job in 1978.
She was an avid bowler and won many awards in the bowling leagues, and traveled to tournaments in many states.
She traveled extensively in her various motor homes, spending the winter months in Arizona.
She enjoyed all the wonderful friends that she met in her travels.
She was a member of Good Sam’s, Spokane Eagles and St. Xavier’s Catholic Church.
Irene is survived by two sisters Lucille Kremer Williams and Mildred Crawford; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters Blanche Kremer Peron, Sylvester Kremer, William Kremer, Harold Kremer, Patrick Kremer and Madeline Kremer Warnecke.

A service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in the mausoleum on Monday, April 4, at 2pm.
