Was born January 4, 1920 in Addy, Washington to Fred and Emma Novotney.
On March 6th, 2016 Eleanor passed away at the age of 96.
After graduating high school from West Valley in the spring of 1937, Eleanor was blessed with meeting the love of her life.
She married Albert Seefried, May 5th, 1941 in Leavenworth, Washington.
Over 63 years of marriage, Al and Eleanor ‘often referred to as ‘Ellie’ spent their life together in Liberty Lake, WA, raising four beautiful children Ron, Vicki, Rick, and John.
Her greatest passion was her family.
Over the years, she enjoyed celebrating in their successes in academics, athletics, business, and most importantly family.
Outside of being a dedicated wife and mother, Ellie enjoyed many hobbies.
A few of her favorites included golf, gardening, cooking, dancing, sewing, playing bridge/pinochle, and decorating for the holidays.
Ironically enough, it was her love for the Seattle Mariners that most of her closest family and friends will remember her most by.
Ellie also found time in being an active member of the Liberty Lake Nine-Hole Women’s Golf Club, the Liberty Lake Garden Club, and enjoyed volunteering each year at the local election polls.
Ellie was the definition of a lady.
You could always count on her hair, nails, and ruby red lips to be perfectly polished accompanied by the most fabulous accessories to complete her look.
Once Al and Ellie’s children were fully grown, they enjoyed spending their winters in Palm Springs.
Each spring and summer they would return to their Liberty Lake home to spend quality time with their children and grandchildren.
Elle was preceded in death by her husband Al.
She is survived by her four children, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Eleanor Martha Seefried will be celebrated Saturday, April 16th at an Open House hosted by her children at 5406 South Helena Lane, Spokane, WA 99223.
