The Dirt: ‘Heritage’ Denny’s under construction in north Spokane

Construction starts this month on a Denny’s restaurant in north Spokane.

Vandervert Construction is building the 4,400-square-foot restaurant on a vacant lot at 3525 N. Division St., on the southwest corner of Gordon Avenue. Set to be completed this summer, the eatery will be the fourth Denny’s in the Spokane area.

Feast Restaurant LLC is developing the $825,000 project as a “heritage prototype” design, with natural wood tones, earthy textures, modern colors and metal accents. Globally, Denny’s has more than 1,700 franchised, licensed and company restaurants with combined sales of $2.7 billion.

Multifamily housing planned in Liberty Lake

Crystal Creek LLC, of Hayden, has purchased a 12-acre property in Liberty Lake to develop multifamily housing.

The property is located at the southeast corner of Country Vista and Legacy Ridge drives.

The limited liability company is part of Copper Basin Construction, which plans to start building the project by late summer or early fall. Liberty Lake Land Co., of Bellevue, sold the property.

James Quigley of Kiemle & Hagood represented the seller. Erik Nelson, also of Kiemle & Hagood, assisted the buyer.

Roofing contractor leases space in industrial park

Flattop Roofing Inc., a roofing contractor, has leased 1,250 square feet in the Spokane Business and Industrial Park, at 3808 N. Sullivan Road.

The contractor has done roofing work in Washington and Idaho for more than 19 years. It serves commercial, residential and new construction customers and applies all types of single-ply roofing products.

Salon to open on Mission Avenue

Ramona DiBiasi, doing business as DiBiasi’s Salon, has leased 1,000 square feet at 106 W. Mission Ave. The location is inside the Taylor Engineering building.

Jeff McGougan, of Black Commercial, and Andy Butler, of WEB Properties, handled the transaction.

Investor buys office building near Holy Family Hospital

Central Mayfair LLC, of Spokane, has purchased property at 111 E. Central Ave. near Providence Holy Family Hospital.

The investor bought the 2,300-square-foot Elston Office Building and two lots.

Dallas Lightner and Jon Jeffreys, both of Black Commercial, handled the transaction.
