Obituary: Lozar, Jack Clinton

Age 85

LOZAR,
Jack Clinton

Sunrise: August 23, 1930
Sunset: April 4, 2016

We lost our beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend, Jack Clinton Lozar on April 4, 2016 surrounded by family, after a lengthy battle of health issues.

Born August 23, 1930 in Los Angeles, CA to Christina and Lester Lozar.

Jack spent his entire life in the construction field, building and paving roads all over the Northwest.

He spent two years in the Korean Conflict where he earned a Bronze Star and other service medals.

He met and married his wife, Donna, right after he got out of the service and together they just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

Jack had the most beautiful smile that just stole your heart.

He was known to many as “Smilin’ Jack.”

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, sharing and friendship.

He was always there to help anyone in their time of need.

Jacks favorite pastimes were fishing, baseball, old cars and traveling.

He leaves behind his wife, Donna of Moses Lake, his four daughters: Debbie (Greg) Doughty, Gloria (Jeff) Goodwin, Cheryl (Steve) Isherwood, Lynda Anderson as well as his sister Barb Ralph of Moses Lake, 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several extended family members and his beloved kitty, Mia.

He will be missed dearly but his spirit will live on, as he was a devoted family man and mentor to many.

A celebration of life will be held when Donna joins him at a later date.
A special thank you to Dr. Conrado Deleon for his care and friendship through the years.

Rest In Peace our beloved Smilin’ Jack.
