Ute was born May 30th, 1957 in Sulz, Germany to Ursula and Adolf Woerner.

She moved to Spokane in 1987 and enjoyed managing and operating
several businesses includ- ing the Bread Basket restaurant, the Chic-A-Ria restaurant, the Asset Recovery Firm, Custom Recovery, and the newly remodeled Das Stein Haus restaurant.

On April 2nd, 2016, after a five year, hard fought battle with cancer, Ute proceeded to heaven from her home in the park surrounded by her sister, Elke Schorn from Germany and her long time loving partner, Jim Morin.

Ute will always be remembered by the biblical passage which best describes her,

“Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but
rejoices with truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always
hopes, always perseveres.”

1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

A Funeral Service for Ute will be held Tuesday, April 12 at 10:00 AM at Heritage Chapel.
