Idaho’s unemployment rate falls to 3.8 percent in March
Idaho’s unemployment rate was 3.8 percent in March, a slight decrease from 3.9 percent in February.
Job gains in education, health services and hospitality slightly offset job losses in information, professional and business services, transportation and utilities, according to the state Department of Labor.
Kootenai County posted a 4.7 percent unemployment rate in March.
Unemployment rates for other North Idaho counties were: Bonner, 6.1 percent; Boundary, 5.6 percent; Benewah, 7 percent; and Shoshone, 7.7 percent.
