3 injured in fall from downtown Coeur d’Alene building
Three people were injured Saturday night when they fell from a rooftop in downtown Coeur d’Alene.
Two women and a man were taken to Kootenai Health after they fell about 25 feet from a building on Sherman Avenue between Fourth and Fifth streets, the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department said.
The building is just west of Cricket’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar. It appears that a parapet atop the structure gave way, Battalion Chief John Morrison said.
A lot of people were downtown at the time, and it was fortunate no one on the sidewalk was also injured, Morrison said.
